  Henkilökunnasta sen jälkeen kun oli antanut reippaahkon tipin. Ennen sitä oli oikeastaan aika hankalaa. Henkilökunnan tilaama lentokenttätaksi oli myös todella hyvä. The elevator from 1895 can still run (though not always in use). They sell postcards and other souvenirs about the hotel at the front desk. Really a piece of history! The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!
