  The staff really knows how to do their job - discrete enough but always available and very friendly. The hotel is located in my favorite area of Istanbul, Taksim Square, so all the services are right downstairs.   We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. The concierge, both Mr Alp and Mr Jim were extremly helpful in providing plans and maps regarding the best in istanbul.
