We stayed in here for a week and everything was just too good, the location is perfecet just two minutes away from centre.The hotel is really very small but you dont need more if u coming to explore Istanbul.The hot water and conditioner is working perfectly anytime during the day.The towels and beds were changed every day, they provide tea and coffes into the rooms for free.All kind of channels on tv and free wifi.
kaikki arvostelut » Just back from Istanbul, where were staying in Mataraci Konak with friends for 4 days. The location is just fabulous, close to all major sites. Little Haya Sofia is next to the hotel and was nice surprise for us. Lots of restaurants and cafes around, but the hotel is staying on small quite street, so this doesn’t bother you at all. Hotel is a nice place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is set in a great location just down the hill from the main sights and next to the artists street. It is a local residential area so it has good local cafes and shops. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, and went out of there way to help. The building is a renovated traditional wooden house and the breakfast buffet was the best we had in Turkey. The staff were very helpful. The location was great, only a few minutes walk uphill to the main attractions. The room was nice and big with enough space for all your belongings. The restaurant next door was excellent and had a beautiful view from the terrace. It was right next to little Haghia Sophia down a quiet street which was really nice. The rooms were nicely furnished and very clean Staff helped us with everything right away (we asked to change rooms after staying in one of the basement rooms for the first nights) Great location next to major sights Very clean. The hotel is in an old renovated building which is very typical for that area, with new interiors and bathrooms. It is a very cute, very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend. The location is amazing. The location, The staff, the neighbourhood are excellent! You feel you are at home, the hotel is not so big, it a more like family -run hotel which makes it more special. I would go back again there!. A nice new property in an old area filled with history being located just next to the Kucuk Aya Sofia and easy walk to the Sultanhmet area as well as to the water front promenade along the Boshorous. Close to all major sites in Sultanahmet. The room was large with a nice and authentic view. Nice area. Money worth. Staff friendly. The staff are really kind especially Davyd, location is great, next door got lovely restaurant, it is very clean and tidy, did enjoy my time my there. The breakfast is very limited and i think hotel got some problems with service eggs for breakfast. The shower was quite small. Somehow taxi driver couldn't find it (not hotel's fault though). Everything was nice, except there were a few flaws, such as missing lightbulb in bathroom, missing part of shower head, unattatched toilet seat.. some previous customers showergel left in our bathroom... The breakfast was a bit poor, however (as this is not my third trip to Turkey) unless you specifically have a continental breakfast per say, throughout Turkey you will always get a similar variety. No International channels on the tv . Small facility so no facilities to speak about though local restaurants and cafes make up. Lamps missing here and there, staff need some more training maybe. The hotel was not very easy to be found. The bathroom was not too clean. Sound insulation need improvement - take some earplugs with you if you don't like to wake up at 4.30 in the morning because of the close proximity to the minarets. drow handle was missing, and show door didn't close properly,room are little bit small. But other than that there are not any faults in the hotel. A little bit difficult to find but if you ask to anybody close by they will be happy to show you the right direction. The hotle made by wood so some time it will be noisy by pepole are leave there . the rooms are slightly small. Breakfast too simple. Only one member of the staff knew english rest didnt know at all.. Its a bit walk from blue mosque .I would say half a kilometer. the breakfast not so completely without hot milk , yougurt and others that we are used to eat on morning . it could be better without a big cost. nothing. Clean process could be better. Needs soundproof.
