  We booked one night away from being busy parents on our honeymoon and had an amazing time at La Flora. A beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. A lovely lady could not wait to take us to our room and show us the honeymoon cake, decorations and special things they had arranged for us. Loved the location so close to Bangala - If you decide to stay in Patong, this place has a great location, with immediate access to the sea, a short walk to all shopping and night-life venues. The service is excellent both by reception and concierge,... Any program you can organise with the help of the concierge locally. The breakfast is OK, too. Well, it's definitely not top-luxury, but clean, comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. Definitely gay-friendly, the gay beach is right behind the hotel.

  Location was great - a short walk to the busy party street and around the hotel had plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. Room was cozy & air conditioner was surprisingly OK. Staff were nice but slow to act on requests (could be a common theme across Thailand). Everything is new (stayed in the new block). Clean. Wifi is VERY fast and reliable, every floor has a router. Motorbike rental 250 baht a day (new bike). Next to a pharmacy. For info: Minivan to and from airport is 180 baht per person, every hour, pick up from hotel. Airport is about an hour away.
