there were language difficulties they were very friendly and tried to

If you find better value for money in Thailand I'd be very surprised. I know a lot of them by now (but of course not all of them) and this one stands out. Staff is determined to make the stay perfect, there is always someone around who can speak English.
The WiFi problem mentioned by some has been SOLVED. There is now a router on every floor so no connection problems any more (I was on the 5th). A must stay in Phitsanulok if you are looking for a modern comfy place to stay and don't need a poo
