  We stayed in a twin-bed at the main wing. Each of the beds was big enough for a 10-year to share comfortably with a parent. First night we were on the stree side and from time to time troubled by the very loud motor bikes racing by.   The hotel was rather new and the facilities were among the best I've ever had - definitely on par with other big names out there, at only a quarter of their price.   We loved the swimming pools and pool bar. Also there is a lot of palms and other greenery around and it is very tropical looking. Also we had a great welcome and our room was decorated with rose pedals. The resort is very clean. Breakfast was good and there was a good variety of food.   The hotel is in a great location - not far from beach and very close to crazy Bangla road! If you are after a quiet place to stay, this might not be for you. Highly appreciated that they allowed us to check out in the afternoon for no extra cost. Ridiculously close to the beach and at the begining of the strip so walking to the shopping areas was easy and leaving the busy strip behind when you wanted quiet was also a breeze.   Everything was so easy because the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were given amazing day trip deals, our food was delicious (especially our Thai dishes) and the location of the breakfast bar (on the beach) was perfect! The entertainment was fun and encouraged us to intermingle with other guests. The location was great because it's a short trip to shop - Beach is amazing! Say in the superior room and get the best views of the beach. Quiet beach with beautiful water and very clean and not busy. Great for family's free shuttle bus into patong! Winning. PS do not get scared when you drive to the hotel and see tri trang multi colour building! It looks horrible but that's a different building!
