  Coco Lanta is a wonderful and relaxing resort. It is well situated on the northern part of Klong Khong Beach. There are several Mini Marts and a 7-Eleven in walking distance. Having stayed a few nights on a more developed beach farther north before our stay here, we really enjoyed the serenity that awaited at Ancient Realm. Although our previous place was directly on the beach, we still spent a good part of our days there on the motorbike exploring the island.   The bungalows are fantastic and if you ask for it you can get one with sea views. This is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay by the beach, the bit right by the complex has a bit of rocks in there but you can get to a place without rocks in 2 minutes. This was by far the best. Booked for 1 night stayed for 5! Stunning Bungalows, with a hammock on the balcony near the Beach, I read a review sating it was to far from a nice beach which is crazy! Your on the beach front in Minutes. Yes you had the odd lizard in your room but its all part of the Charm and for the Price you cant really complain. The Manager was amazing! She was so helpful anything we needed she sorted it out instantly, I have never met

This is a big resort, filled with almost exclusively Swedish families who are obviously staying here for awhile.
