The hotel was down a small side road and once we found it we were pleasantly surprised, the reason we picked this hotel was that they accept dogs which was hard to find.
The views of the river and the mountains were fantastic very peaceful location would recommend to anyone.

Value for money Staff were friendly and Debbie on reception was great,
gave us lots of information which helped make our visit a really good
one. Nice relaxing place. Comfortable beds. Clean, a good breakfast.
We loved the location, on the River Kwai-great views and sunsets.
If you book a boat trip, the boat picks you up from outside your room.

Very close to memorial cemetery and the best museum about the bridge in the town. Also close to Catholic Church if you wish to attend at 0930 on Sundays.

We stayed in a rafthouse on the riverside. It was far enough away from the main street to be quiet at night.

I got the cheapest room with air-con. These rooms do not face the river, but face a dirt slope. Had I known this I would have sprang for the room with a balcony and a beautiful view.
The hotel location is on the beach and there is very useful if you will
have any boats, kayaks and fishing equipment for rent.
The place needs serious renovation!Mainly outside, the wood to get on the boat are not to be trusted, one of them broke when we entered on the boat, and the river is just there under us...The european lady at reception was not very nice.You have cats wondering around asking for food.
The bathroom could have been a little cleaner and we had no hot water.Be aware that communication with the helpful, friendly staff may be difficult at times if you don't speak Thai. (although most have a smattering of English which helped:).
We had a room in the small houses.It was little bit scarry, but because of the non - funcional water in the shower they moved us to the houseboat.. There is bigger room, hot shower, nice view, just it moves little bit :)
So if you are going to stay there I deeply recomend you booked the houseboat.
Staff was not able to give me iwifi password and i can not charge my phone in my room because it was impossible to plug in ;(.
Receptionist spoke no other language then thai.
We booked the cheapest number, probably because of this it was not very good. There was very cold (we were at december) and no hot water. Room was small and near it lived chickens.
Room 209 did not have lock to bathroom. The Ac made lot of noise. Hot water for bath is not available.
Whole place needs a refit and paint job. Much better value places nearby.

The motor for the water pump ran all night outside my window. Huge roach was in my empty bottle in the morning. Something was stuck to my old old towel. Really in poor condition. place needs a lot of fixing up.
