Convenience to both high-end and low-end shopping. Food-wise, you'll be spoilt for choice. Safety in the hotel is good as only registered guests are allowed into lift lobby. The receptionist will unlock the door for you. Room may be small but with all that you need and the housekeeping is efficient. Breakfast comes in sets, limited, but delicious.

The room was very functional: although fairly compact it had plenty of shelves, surfaces to put things on. The bed was comfy and large. The shower was spacious with good water pressure. Our room facing a side of the building was very quiet. The design is minimalistic, but pretty cool.
The hotel is close to Metro (BTS) and river transport. Plenty of local food vendors nearby.

The bed was the hardest yet on my 3 month trip in S.E.Asia, but we
solved it by putting a the mattress from an extra-bed on top. It was
very comfortable.
Unlike many other hotels/hostels in the same area, there was air and space - in the outdoor restaurant, the garden and the courtyard for parking.

Great hotel, clean rooms, good, tv, laundry facilities, tourist desk for trips. Love the location of this hotel as it is a 5-10 minute walk from the khaosan road so you have can have all the craziness but with somewhere you can go back and have some peace and calm. Theres a great cafe a 3 minute walk from here called Chomp that has amazing food and homemade bread and amazing service.

We liked the hotel's location in the Ratchadaphisek area.It is within a short walking distance to the Central Plaza Rama9 and also Tesco Lotus which has a nice and clean food court offering reasonably priced local food.There are also plenty of interesting restaurants and cafes. Chatuchak market is also a few mrt stops away.

We had a lovely stay in Tanatawey for 6 nights. Rooms are very well cleaned every day. There is a variety of choices for breakfast and they are delicious. I am mostly impressed by the service we have been received at the reception desk. All the receptionists speak good English and are extremely friendly and helpful. Overall we are very satisfied with Tanatawey and would love to come back again.

For us it was a oasis in a caotic city. Our room was big, bed and pillows are very good and bathroom has a excellent shower.
Ar conditioned work great in a extremelly hot city.
Location ins between two Skytrain. So it is easy to go to places that Skytrain or subway can leave you. And that is a problem for Bangkok, not a hotel issue.

Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend emailing to let staff know if you need to check in late as reception is not usually open 24 hours - but we emailed to let them know we were arriving at about 11.30pm and they were happy to make sure someone was there when we arrived. Very convenient location for the Skytrain, 2 stops on the Skytrain to the river where you can catch the Chao Phrayo Express and Tourist boats. The free mini bananas were a nice touch.

Good walking distance to the ' great palace and others. Only 3-4 minuts walking to the pier where you can take the boat into the city for only 15 baht p.p. On the last pier station (Taksin Station) you can walk easily to the skybar or take the skytrain to siamcenter etc.
The room was clean and had everything for a good 2-4 day citytrip.

It was inspiring for the creative mind and much more fascinating than an
average hotel room. Loved the decor and felt that it was such a chic
hotel with very nice and clean rooms and facilities for the amount that
is charged per night. Great value for money. Location wise - decent.
Central enough but you do need to walk a fair bit to the bts station but
Silom is close to Sukhumvit and other areas of interest. Would def stay
here again when I visit Bangkok.
