If you are looking for a non-conventional accomodation in Thun... This is the right place. A good value. This B&B is better than more of 3 stars hotels in Switzerland with small cages/rooms and it is very close to bars, shops, banks and supermarkets. Easy to reach from the SBB Station, just 3 minutes walking from there. Go towards Manor (a shopping center) cross the bridge, the first building on the left side is the place (reference: A lobster with a clock) Notice the building has 2 main en.
kaikki arvostelut » This guest house type location is located unusually in a office block on its 4th floor with a convenient lift access. The young couple who own and run the establishment are very friendly and take great pride looking after their business and it is a great place to stay whilst in Thun. It is just 3/4 minutes walk from train station and there are many nearby shops and street market on the same street. There is a tremendous range of TV channels available and the English programmes include, BBC 1, 2. The owners were incredibly friendly and got our room ready 2 hours before it was supposed to be for us. Room was large, very cute, GREAT view, and incredibly comfy. Good European style breakfast. Very accomodating, they let us use their washer and dryer for free. Also, not very far from the train station. Very good location two blocks from Thun station in building abutting river with mountain view. Used as base for day ski trips. Price good value in expensive Switzerland. Cute room. Location is very near the train station and the old town. Room is comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and lots of variety. Owner is friendly and nice. Finding B&B at first a tad difficult as Thun doesn't allow bigger sign-posting of B&B. Toilet and shower outside the room. But that didn't really affect us since we didn't really have to wait to use the WC. The curtain in the room didn't help much if you want to sleep in. shared bathroom. no things. Electric sockets were difficult/impossible to use - both for equipment in the room and our adaptors to charge our phones.
