  The owner, Matesis (not sure of spelling) was very warm and freindly, and I enjoyed our chat about cars, and his love of Ford Capris. He and his staff were fantastic, and the Ladina is very comfortable, almost like a boutique hotel, as it is small (I think 10 rooms or so in total), and the staff make you feel at home.   Wonderful old hotel, completely refurbished to a very high standard. The staff were friendly, helpful and utterly delightful. Excellent buffet breakfast served in lovely surroundings. Free WiFi throughout the hotel, with a strong and reliable signal in the bedroom. Bathroom was a good size with a large shower. The motel is quiet and peaceful with out road noise. Lockup bike room and access without stairs for luggage. Very happy and will stay there again.

  Hotel Bernina1865 is definitely the best hotel during our visit in Switzerland. My dad and I were planned to stay in St.Moritz; however, we found it too expensive to stay there. We were very surprised by the gesture because this is the first time happening for us since we are in a budget tour. The hotel is modern looking yet retain the feel of the past.
