  The rooms were reasonably sized. We could keep and open 2 big bags while having enough space to walk. The kitchen was very small but it was fine as we cooked for our kids only. The hotel and rooms were clean. For the price and location, it was a good place. The staff was very courteous and helpful and this place is about 2 tram stops on tram 10 or... mitä ihmiset sanovat » 10 mins walk from Zurich train station. - The Astor is a short tram ride (uphill) from the train station - take #7 towards the zoo and get off at the first stop once the tram turns uphill after crossing the river. The unit we had has a small kitchen that was very handy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms on the back side of the hotel are very quiet. There is a free laundry machine! We absolutely loved our stay here.

  The Apartment was very nicely maintained, very comfortable 03 Tram station (Tram 11 & 14) from the Main Zurich station.   The staff very kindly ungraded us to a unit at EMA House, Nordstrasse 1 (hence the ratings do not apply to that at Unterstrass though it is next door). Besides, they were always most helpful and attentive to any queries and requests. Both hotels are 2 tram stops away from the main train station. We enjoyed quiet strolls in the park which has a children's playground. - I got an upgrade to larger apartment for free. The rooms were very well furnished, equipped with modern technique WiFi is everywhere, kitchen has lots of plates, jars, microwave and dishwasher. Keep it up!

  good location - The apartment was clean and comfortable, although very basic. It had everything we needed - nothing more, nothing less. It was spacious with plenty of room for a family of five. Two double bedrooms and a large lounge with a big double sofa bed so everyone had a comfortable place to sleep.   The apartment was very clean and it has clothes washer and dryer. It has very nice and fully furnished kitchen. The internet was fast. The area is very quiet although a bit distant from the city center but there as tramway station 20 meters from the gate. It was excellent choice.

  Everything about California House is excellent: The management and staff are extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and equipped with all modern amenities. Use of the high-speed internet computer and satellite TV (included in the price), is a unique feature. Location is also optimal - ten minutes by tram... mitä ihmiset sanovat » into centre. I would highly recommend this hotel. - This hotel was fantastic for us. Situated perfectly (7 mins on tram to the Hauptbahnhof (sp?) main station) and within 200 metres of a supermarket. Kitchenette was perfect for cooking breakfast/lunch so as to avoid very expensive meals out too often. Bathroom spotless with very good shower and fantastic, new whirlpool bath which fit two people no problem.
