  A charming period building in a very good area, within 15 min walking distance to central Zurich; very nicely appointed rooms -- although the single room is a bit small, bathroom spotlessly clean. Friendly, courteous and ultra professional multi-lingual reception staff; good buffet breakfast. I thorougly recommend this hotel.   The location of the hotel is excellent! The rooms may be small, but they have everything you need. Even though you share a bathroom, everything is kept very clean. The fresh bread at breakfast was delicious. I also enjoyed the very good cup of coffee each morning. The staff were excellent and also very professional. But with earplugs, this is not a major issue. - Room very beautiful. I was surprised by the elegance and the cleanliness, not to mention the superb peculiarity of each room.   Everything! I travel quite often and this is a gem! Room was small, but very clean, well organized, super comfy bed/pillows, nice bathroom with shower - and sparkling clean, and small balcony (would be nice in the summer). Staff were also very friendly & helpful! Is right near the 8/3 trams, the 3 takes you straight to the main train station -... mitä ihmiset sanovat » and in the city center with the 8 in about 10 mins. Well known bakery right next door & another restaurant down the street. Kitchens on every flo - Very clean and comfortable, close to the town centre and the staff were always friendly and helpful. My room was bigger than expected and I was the only person using the shared bathroom on my floor. I liked that a generous breakfast was included in the (already very reasonable) price and that there was a computer with internet access on the ground floor for guest use. There was even a printer with it, making me think the hotel has really thought about what travellers might need. The art gallery

Friday night music from the bar downstairs was quiet and could only hear it in t - The hotel is surrounded by many bars and restaurants, very close to the lake, away from the train station about 20 minutes walking, the staffs are very friendly and helpful, they assisted us in arranging the city tours, and also bed sheets were clean as well as the bathroom. The breakfast was good and restaurant offer a good meal during evening such as fajitas and Burger, if I visit Zurich again California Hotel will be my choice definitely.

  As we were a large party over for the ironman competition, I couldnt have asked for a better reception. The staff were so accomodating, going as far as making cheese sandwiches after the ironman when all the local restaurants were closed so the athletes did not have to walk far.
