  I've stayed at five star hotels that dont do what this lovely charming hotel do, made me feel special and cared for from the first hello. From the cleaners, to waiters to managers all had a superb attitutude. My room had all I need and more, nice little touches and so affordable.   My luggage key was lost and I went to inform the reception on 16 Dec 2010. She readily came up with me,tried with her keys and tried to open the padlock. As it could not be done,she got another guy, who actually cut my padlock and it was done in less than 15 minutes. Kudos to both the service providers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. - Location was good just a 5 minute walk from the main station. clean value for money, along the river side very near to the main town and market area, though we missed a kettle for tea coffe in the room Rosli didi not have a lift but we shifter to their adjacent hotel Baslertor which ahad a lift and a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The staff was nice and easily shifter our rooms.

  We spent to nights at the hotel while in Lucern and had a brillianttime. Staff was very caring, room (the cheapest one) was on the 5thfloor with nice view over the city. Location is perfect - we could goeverywhere on foot. I really recommand this place to anyone who likemodern architecture! - the staff treatment and the strange furniture

  Location was outstanding in the middle of old town Lucern. Getting there was very easy by car and a car park right across the street from the hotel. Great restaurants and pastry shops close by so you don't need to have dinner or breakfast at the hotel if you don't want. Wifi was fast. Bed was comfortable and large as was the bathroom. The price was so much cheaper for the quality and loca - We stayed in room 402, which was one of the rooms with a balcony. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! Close to all major sights and train station, but all the shops are on the other side of the river. Although we did not eat at the hotel's restaurant, is looked very nice and were full every night. Will definitly recommend the hotel to budget travellers!!

  We were a group of 3 women who occupied a triple bedroom. The size of the room was just right. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. The interior of the hotel is really nice. This is a hotel that provides value for money. We definitely will stay in this hotel again should we have another opportunity to visit Lu - Boutique hotel, unique, interesting and full of history. A great place to stay - clean, comfortable, but most of all friendly and relaxed. A small hotel with a big heart and loads of character - love the lift! We had the best time at the Stern, sitting outside in the cafe, eating, drinking, meeting people and the location is perfect. The staff are lovely and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. 10/10 from us!
