Very friendly staff. The place is also a restaurant and a souvenirs shop. It's not a hotel but rather a guest house. Big room with a view on the moutains. The restaurant has a terrace with a view. Very peaceful place. Location in the old city, 15 minute uphill walk from train station but worth it. Large room with kitchen. The spectacular view. Friendly staff. Oh so very quiet.

Excelent location at a very good price, and a beautiful view from the room. large and confortable apartment Convenient restaurant at ground floor. Located in the main Gruyeres street. Large room Excellent location. was clean Tip : If you book this hotel you need to know , that you can bring your luggage to door with car only after 18-00 untill 10-00, otherwise you need bring it from parking that outside of toun. Spectacular location! Beautyful views Castle well worth visit. Loved the town of Gruyere, cheese making in the shop. The room was located on the ground floor. One can hear very clearly footsteps in the upper room. The rooms the 1st or 2nd floor might be more quiet. Nothing to dislike. Bathroom without door. The pillows. Not enough pillows in the bed, one very thin pillow per person. Staff attitude was not friendly. We arrived at 3.30pm but staff reminded us that we could not check in until 4pm, despite the room being empty. The next morning checkout was at 10am with no later checkout possible. In effect we paid for a day but had the room for 18hours. The staff wasn't very friendly either, what a shame. It spoilt an otherwise brilliant experience. WIFI available but cannot connect into the internet, Village visit needs walking up-hill not suitable for unhealthy person as taxi coming from the other town & rare. studio room. No hairdryer or coffee making facilities in the room. the room divided for two parts (without wall ) with curtain. In one part bed & enother - toilet & shower . All sounds & odors in the both patrs ... Poor housekeeping If you hve luggage, several floors, no lift or porter. Staff indifferent. Rooms in separate building. No elevator or porter, do not bring luggage. Staff not service oriented. Bycicles cluttering unlit hallway.
