  We used the Ibis Messe as our overnight spot before flying out of Zurcih the next morning. It was a perfect spot. The shuttle was easy to spot at the airport, the driver courteous. Can't say enough good things about the friendly, sociable staff. The rooms were compact, but bright and clean, perfect for our needs. Do note that the hotel is located i - Excellent service.  Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel clean.  Breakfast buffet superb.  Location may appear to be remote and in an industrial area, but during our stay we did not notice that, using the exceptional public transport links to travel into central Zurich was very easy. The frequent bus 781 from stop Riedbach outside the hotel takes about 6 minutes to Oerlikon Bahbhof. Which is then just 6 minutes to Zurich HB by the many, even more frequent trains.   The place was clean and quiet. The furnishings were spare, but serviceable. The staff at checkin was good. The area was a 'hip' part of town - near some good restaurants that were not too expensive.   The friendliness! Everyone was so helpful and understanding, I don't speak German (let alone Swiss German!), so they all spoke in very good English and were very nice and patient with my little 2-year-old son. They also have an amazing breakfast and very good food, the room is small but cosy and warm, with everything you need (tv, telephone, air c... mitä ihmiset sanovat » onditioning, lift, internet...), lots of storage room, great shower, everything works great! I really recommend this hotel, it's great value for money - extremely clean and neat rooms with laminate/hardwood flooring which ensures cleanliness and no dust etc. beds and linens were fresh and clean. showers were very clean and not dirty or marked in any way which would make them uncomfortable to use.
