I did not have time to visit the casino though. - Staff was extremely courteous and helpful (despite the fact that I arrived in the middle of the night) and the service is excellent (you even get a free Basle travel pass). Access to the nice, quiet and spacious business centre proved ideal for my needs. The hotel is not on the cheap side, but as it is 1st class throughout, value is outstanding.

Everything! We previously stayed a year ago and were very impressed. This year was even better - the addition of the restaurant and the bar - and you could not ask for more helpful and friendly service. Quirky decor and design very interesting.The staff were excellent - helpful and friendly. Free Tram pass provided was brilliant and so easy to use and get around.Coffee machine, nuts and water were nice gestures.Breakfast good and served until 1pm- so ideal for travellers or just leisurely start to the day. -

Me and my wife really enjoyed staing in your hotel. The rooms are clean, furniture new. The breakfast and the restaurant were very good. And, of course, very professional and nice staff. Thank you! - The free travel card worked wonderfully. Restaurant was good. Parking garage very secure. Friendly, helpful staff.

Uncomplicated, friendly owners went out of their way to make my stay pleasant, welcoming me from the moment I arrived and offering advice and answers to all my questions. My room was spacious, clean, and for the most part quiet. Breakfast was good, lots of fresh fruit and a good cappuccino.

The hotel's facilities are all there in abundance despite there being a 'miniature' aspect to the hotel.
The breakfast and the bar facilities are friendly with a good atmosphere. ( I didn't experience lunch or dinner)

I had my passport nicked while at a bathhouse. The staff at the reception were very helpful and put up well with a panicked traveler.
The babbling brook right outside is a very nice touch.
Breakfast is good. Nice bread, nice cheeses, yogurt, cereals, coffee is gratis in the morning.
Overall, it's a very nice hostel though only a hostel which are generally only as good as the guests who are present.
