The location of the guest house was perfect! Out the door of the guest house and you are at the beach! There is also a small local shopping street nearby where you can get cheap souvenirs. Lots of other cafes and restaurants around. The guesthouse was also very safe- they lock the doors at the guesthouse at mid-night and open it up again at 7am... There is always someone there to help you and they are very helpful. We asked for a bigger mosquito net and they fixed one up for us quickly. The gue.

Food (in attached bar/restaurant) was very good....again simple, but tasty and well prepared. We stayed there 5 nights, everything was good, friendly staff, really close to the beach. Nice beach restaurants close to surfcity. Good choice. Our room had a great view to the sea (from the window) . It wa 30 meters from the beach. Excellent location right at the best part of the beach. The rooms in the old building are a little bit weary and less clean, but if you consider the price, it is still a good accommodation. Very uncomfortable beds (old matrasses). Dirty towels. The rooms could do with a update, but they are perfectly fine. a lot of tourists on the beach, only cold water. It was just very scruffy. I have stayed in many basic accommodation before and the room was as expected, bed with fan and clean enough, but it was the rest of the building; looked messy, broken furniture. They have said they are looking to renovate/ do up over the wet season so it may be better in a few months. there was no hot water!!!. Old and dirty facility, no a/c, no hot water. Could be Ok for 2-3 days stop over, but not for a longer vacations. More appropriate for backpacker travellers. Location, although on beach, due to erosion cannot access beach!. How scruffy it was. How when the restaurant was taken out of action and we had to have food served upstairs it always arrived cold and when we complained we were told it was because it was windy however the real reason was that different items of food were cooked at separate times and then left hanging around. Absolutely unhelpful staff, they don't care at all about guests, a lot of staff and they do nothing there!!!!! Not clean and comfortable rooms, very dirty shifts and pillows, seems that furniture will be broken in next minute when you touch it!. Room wasn't very secure; aircon and hot water not working; not clean. Dirty rooms small No hot water.
