The staff were all great, particularly Jack who's very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, the location was beautiful and peaceful. Even the resident dogs are delightful! It's not just the standard run-of-the-mill hotel- it has been beautifully designed with a fine eye for artistic but simple details. The outside bathrooms were highlight for us!

We really enjoyed our short stay in the hotel. They were very facilitating and hospitable towards us and assisted us in all ways possible. The staff were the selling point for us. This is a great hotel if you're on vacation. Everyone is so friendly and go way out of their way to make sure you get the best out of your stay in Kandy. The greatest thing ever was that I told them I'd like to take some cooking lessons in Kandy (but there's none), so their chef made some time in his busy schedule to teach me how to make curry. That was unbelievable. I can't imagine any other hotel being that intimate and friendly. -

We got in before check in time but it was no bother for the front staff. They very quickly had our room ready giving us to use the free wifi in the lobby, we were treated to an ice cold drink. Jehan went out of his way and this was reflected in the other staff members including the dining room staff. We wanted a room overlooking the pool and got it despite being busy with the esala festivities. The room was large, clean and the toilet was great.
