Wow..what an experience.. We reached misty view cottage after a long 5 hours journey from the airport and were delighted to see the place, location, hospitality.Superb location jus next to the highest mouton range of sri lanka. Excellent service, we were made to feel like kings. Amazing decor of the place makes you feel cozy. Mouth watering food, we had a nice and huge breakfast served by the host. We ordered continental breakfast and we were given sri lankan breakfast as complimentary and the .

The experience was one of kind and it felt like you were on cloud 9! The owner, Dammika was very hospitable and tries his best to welcome each and every guest. He really made us feel at home and is genuinely concerned about providing the best experience to his guests.What misty view offers is a homely, cosy hideaway amongst the mountains.Sri Lankan food prepared(w. We got a free upgrade to a larger accomodation! Very big and nice :) Heating for the first time in stead of A/C. Very kind staff, lots of service, tea, food etc. Overall great experience!. There are 4 sleeping rooms and a shared kitchen and living room. we met a nice french couple this way. The view on the tea plantage is nice. It was peacefull. Friendly staff. Everything! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They prepared a huge breakfast pack for us when we went to the national park in the early morning. We got free snacks in the evenings. Far more than we imagined..wish could stay here longer.. Lot of service... get's a bit awkward for me. But it's certainly with the best intentions. the staff was friendly and did there best to help us; they could be offered a basic english course for better communication. The area where the rooms are is a bit narrow. The furniture was little bit old needs renewal. The steep climb to the venue. far from Nuwara Eliya. Access a little bit difficult but no problem if have a car / driver. The room was very basic and a bit old. The mattress was really old and was not comfortable at all. if you are not a dog lover, you will feel the least pleased with the dog's smell filled with the house. food is expensive and doesn't taste good.
