  This hotel is great value for money. I stayed here for two nights sharing a room with two female friends and our room was lovely. The service from the staff was always excellent, everyone very friendly and happy to help. The outdoor pool is really nice, a great way to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Location is good too.   This was a great 'experience' hotel - we stayed because of the heritage associated with it. An old colonial hotel which is a little crumbly around the edges but not too much and has lots of period features like an old fashioned cage lift etc. Nice garden area, and bar and a veyr swanky reception area with wifi.   Many reviews don't do this place justice. We found all staff from the owner down mega-helpful & friendly. Our room was extremely comfortable and the whole place spotless. There was occasional building noise from the new rooftop restaurant they're building, which will be spectacular when finished in a couple of months time.
