Hotel La Fonda is situated just off Plaza Espana in Benalmadena Pueblo. There are several excellent restaurants near by and no shortage of good places to eat. Transport from Malaga Airport is easy by taking the Fuengirola train to Benalmadena and then the 121 Mijas bus to the Pueblo. The hotel is about 400 metres from the bus stop. We stayed for two nights in July 2013 and found the hotel perfect for our needs. The room was clean and had a mini fridge and kettle which we did not expect and parking was very easy and close by. There was an extensive choice for breakfast including some hot dishes freshly cooked to order. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially on reception who went out of their way to provide information and maps of the area. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend this hotel

Went with my sister and mum for a girls holiday and we all found the hotel to be very clean, rooms were nice with excellent views, staff were helpful and polite, food was very good, entertainment was good, atmosphere within hotel was very good.
