If you are looking for a 4 star hotel which offers a breakfast buffet and all other type of services you may have to choose another location or even city. However, if you love to be in a wonderful boutique hotel where the owner Marivi puts her heart and soul into everything, starting from the warm welcome, the infos about ronda, the decoration and interior of the rooms and the breakfast she serves on her own better hurry up with booking, there aren't that many rooms available.

We had a wonderful stay at La Ciudad. The dobleroom they got us was in fact a flat, big livingroom/kitchen, and a nice bedroom. The kitchen had all the equipment needed to make your own meals. Perfect location in a stylish period house across the bridge in the old town, just moments from the main square and church. Our spacious "suite" had a small sitting room with kitchenette, although breakfast was included at a typical Andalucian cafe near the bullring. Fabulous!

This family-run bed and breakfast was such a wonderful surprise! It was easy to find, right on the 9km turnoff before Ronda, there was plenty of space, including access to a large lounge area, and our hosts were brilliant, striking the perfect balance between privacy and attentiveness. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer - a great base from which to explore the white villages, Ronda, and even the coast.

A perfect setting with a room overlooking the gorge. The staff were exceptional, the best I have met. We arrived by car on a narrow road outside the hotel and the receptionist jumped out, helped us unload and pointed to a spot where we could move the car out of the way. She parked it safely for us afterwards. The food was excellent on the enclosed terrace and the Maitre D moved a propane patio heater in behind my wife when she got cold.

Please give Ronda more than one night flying visit like we did. The train journey up Ronda was amazingly beautiful from Agreciras.
