  I just want to warn you if you decide to book a room at the HD Parque Cristobal Tenerife hotel, becauseit might be that they cancel your reservation just before you arrive. Very surprised that this hotel was very goo - - rooms cleaned every day, except weekend - nice views, though on last flor so not sure how it is on others - nice swimming pool, opening hours are normal, in some hotels are even only to 6pm so 8pm in udalla is perfectly acceptable. besides you have only a few minutes walk to playa de las visitas and playa del camison - two beautiful beaches - location is very good. close to city center and main sidewalk with shops (few minutes walk). close to the ocean (same distance)

  This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. I returned to this hotel in just 3 mths :-) Staff provides professional services and they are really nice and helpful. Room is big and comfortable. Compare to the hotel with same price in Playa de las Americas, this hotel is really value for money. Hotel also provides shuttle bus services though it's not as frequent - We stayed here for 2 weeks Aug-Sep13 with three kids,12/8/2. The hotel is fabulous for families and couples. Staff at this hotel are absolutely fabulous, the hotel is very clean, very relaxing, beautiful apartments with total privacy. Sleeping is really relaxing as it's very quiet.No partying etc. The pools are wonderful, children's pool very nice and warm. Breakfast is to die for and plenty. I can not fault this hotel. We would be going back next year. Shuttle bus good, life guard for the pool

  We have stayed in the apart hotel in the middle of May for a little bit more than a week. Enjoyed dinner buffet.Good spot if you have a car, however parking on street must be hard to get in high season as was difficult enough finding space in Jan and hotel charge for their parking.   The friendly helpful couple who owned the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, providing scales to weigh our luggage, milk for morning tea before a very early departure and a good fairly plain dinner (inspite of a big football match on the tv!) The hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but don't be deceived, inside is lovely. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location: it's close (some 10km) from downtown Santa Cruz with a good and easy road to go to and from and yet, you're in the countryside (very quiet) +, since it's relatively high altitude, it's likely you will be above the clouds in the winter... Although it's far from the Teide volcano as the crow flies, the road to the Park is pretty straight, it might take less time to drive to the Park from Las Cañadas than from a location at the coast!
