We had a great stay in this hotel. Staff is extremelly helpful and nice, they gave us a late check out, after we came back from the beach so that we can still have a shower and fresh up before leaving. Room was beautiful. Tappas in the evening were great, done by a chef that comes there few nights per week, a must try by the pool side! All restaurants recommended in town by the hotel were excellent. Highly recommend staying here!

The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. We were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean , well ran , friendly and one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The food was excellent and plenty of variety. The rooms were cleaned daily. Clean towels when needed. The hotel was not in a noisy location which was nice late evening if you want to enjoy an early night .

Lovely clean hotel with helpfull staff, breakfast was great especially squeezing your own orange juice. Had a room facing the mountains, although not sea view the mountain view was great, really refreshing. The balcony was large so drinks in the evening was relaxing. Staff were great and very accommadating booking restaurants etc specially for the surrounding areas.
One street away from the beach and in a fairly quiet location.

Extremely good service from all of the staff. We arrived late in the evening, the restaurant was closed, but they had arranged for us to have a cold meal in the restaurant! We had half-board; the food was really good, fresh and with good variation.

Just about everything! The excellent and friendly staff has to be mentioned. Lovely garden and views. Great pool, big and deep. The private cove, Muleta, is really lovely with clear, salty, soft water and friendly people and good food at the bar. (The 20 minute bus ride to the cove is not a problem, don't miss it!)
