Excellent on site restaurant with the best value for fine dining in Spain. - The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cave was favlous with the wonderful log fire and comfy beds. Would be perfect for a romantic retreat.

The location of the hotel for exploring the area is great.
Added to this the rooms are incredibly spacious and a large balcony with mountain views.
Nothing can be better than after a day of hiking to be able to relaxing this type of comfort and tranquility.

La Fragua 11 is set in a lovely location. The room was very spacious, clean and with a lovely terrace overlooking the mountains.
Staff were very friendly and with lots of knowledge of the surrounding areas, good if you want to do some walking.
The restaurant, which is just 2 minutes down the road was truly excellant.
Very good regional dishes,and very efficient staff and ambiance.
Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hostal Palomares. The owner was one of the nicest people we have met . He even came out onto the street to introduce himself and to welcome us to his hotel. It's very obviously that the owner is very proud of his business and rightly so. A small typically Spanish hotel with amazing service. Fantastic position, close to pistes and lifts. Warm welcome and excellent clean accommodation. Corridors and communal areas noisy due to school parties but plenty of space and well designed to cope with large groups. Friendly and adequate staffing. Everything!! The location, the view, the comfort. Absolutely amazing!! We had a wonderful view from our balcony that showed us the beach, a nice square with fountain and the statue of the prince Abdul Rahman I, we could look at the markets on the square that open at night and listen to the sound of sea. We had a great relaxing time for our honeymoon. The beach and many restaurants are few steps away. I totally recommend it to Almunecar visitors.

It is situated in a beautiful plaza where we could walk everywhere, there were restaurants right outside the front door, and it was a 2-minute walk from the bus-stop with buses to every destination in Granada. It was a dream location. It was very clean, and the staff was helpful.
