  It is an extraorindarily beautiful property with attention to detail inside and out. The room was delightful and comfortable with wonderful beds. The owner gave us a guided tour to explain the history of the property and the rennovation process -- fascinating. The bistro had delicious fare and a lovely ambience. It was simpl - Great attention to detail, whithout being stuffy our pretentious. One felt at home and confortable. Newspapers are available in the reception area and books in the lounge, and drinks are available in the mini bar of the room free of charge. We had dinner one night at the hotel and enjoyed it greatly. We overheard quite a few clients mentioning that they had been there before and were planning to return.

  The hotel is outstanding. Once we got there we could not have been moresatisfied with the setting, the facilities, the food, the staff.   When I first arrived I didn’t like the look of it because I thought I was in the middle of nowhere. But it is just a short walk from a great beach. And a 10 minute drive away from a massive beach. O’Grove was especially nice and the fish is to die for. The island of Toxa is worth a visit and you can go into the posh old Hotel for a coffee.

  This is a lovely B&B run by a darling young couple. The husband is a french chef and the food is some of the best you can get in Spain. And lots of fois gras! The rooms were spacious with all necessary comforts. Ours had a spa tub and views of the river. Otherwise, just relax with a book and enjoy the majestic views and delicious food. - O Remanso dos Patos is a little gem of a hotel, situated in the truly beautiful Ribeira Sacra region. The hotel is full of character, and the restaurant is a delight. There is a lovely little swimming pool which is ideal for cooling off after a day's sightseeing- especially welcome as we arrived during a heat wave! Natasha, Antony and the rest of their staff were very kind and helpful.
