  The apartment was amazing. Right in the city center in a really cool area, close to everything. Definitely exceeded my expectations.   My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. The hotel itself is beautiful and kept up. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants.   It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers.
