  I stayed for one night to break the journey from Barcelona to Valencia. The owner has restored and converted a building that had been empty for a number of years. The photos I had seen prior to my trip interred that the rooms were old. However this is just the historical style of the furniture used used to fit out the room. A taxi can get to within 30 met - The B&B is located very near to the Templar castle at the very top of the ´Rock´that overlooks and dominates the town and beaches of Peniscola. The host, Guido, is a charming man who literally rebuilt his small hotel by hand. He also personally roasts and brews perhaps the best coffee I´ve ever tasted. The B&B itself oozes ambience and there are several good restaurants just a few doors down. The Templar castle itself is fascinating historically and offers stunning views. We really enjo
