  Of course, the main advantage is a location between beaches and railway station. You have a possibility to go to the center of Barcelona every day or relax on the beaches of Mataro and be a couch potato. It's not a touristic center so it's quiet and very romantic place. The train station is in front of hotel, so it is convenient if you do not drive. the hotel is well designed, well decorated and very clean. we got a sea view room and the view is great, you can see the sunrise from your balcony. 8EUR+VAT per night for parking in basement. in a word, it is very good hotel with great view.

  The staff were very friendly but you need to know some spanish to get by particularly in mataro.The hotel was superb ,typically spanish, not your usual tourist area for English. - The room is clean and spacious, staff is friendly and helpful. Also I liked the pool which was bigger and smarter than it looked on the photos.
