  I booked a double room for 40 euros; I think this rate is impossible to beat, in any kind of hotel in Barcelona (and even hostels).   Very nice, cosy appartment, close to main city attractions or the metro station. The staff is most kind and helpful, speakes English and some other languages (e.g. Polish), you could contact them by phone or e-mail (free Wi-Fi) so the help is "one call away". Had everything we wanted.....plenty of sleeping space, nice sized kitchen and dining area and lots of toiletries and towels provided. The location was also ideal.
