  The bed was of really good quality, and the linen was also. Great to get into a comfy bed after the day in such a a great city. Sowes/toilets always in good condition and enough to share with the few guests staying. Microwav/fridge in hallway leading to a small terrace which is good for chilling out.. Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.

  The hostal is a very nice apartment (or two joint apartments) on the 3rd floor of a beautiful modernist house, with these old-style elements like shutters, tiled floor, wicker sofa, and separate taps for cold and hot water, and our room had a beautiful little balcony with forged railings. The hostesses, Maria and Martina, were very nice and helpful. Living in this real b - The entire hostal has great design features and the owners knew what vintage furniture pieces to ad in order to preserve its wonderful architecture. I especially loved the strained-glass windows and the original tiles in all rooms. My room was spaceous, with a great street view from the small balcony. The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Paseig de Gracia and another 5 minutes to Placa de Catalunya (also, metro stations and bus stations are very close). The owners are really nice and ready

  I needed an economical place to stay for a 15 hour layover in Barcelona. I also wanted to be fairly close to everthing so I could take one last look before leaving Spain. The Pension Francia room was perfect: spacious and clean with good amenities at an excellent price. The location is great as it is walking distance to Port Vell, Barceloneta Beach, Barcelona Cathedral. Barcelona Zoo, El Born, Bari Gotic, Musee P - I love this hotel, it's simpel and clean ! I think it's the 5th time that I stayed here, and I'm always very happy here. Not all of the personel speaks english - I think that's just also the charm, you're in Catalunya... not in England- but they are always very helpfull and friendly. Location is great, and the price quality is very good I think. Will definitly return ! Good internet connection.
