The hotel was beautiful, but some small things i.e. no face cloths in the bathrooms and not enough toiletries, small details. The staff are very helpful and genuinely keen to serve us. Walking distance to many touristic sights, cafes and restaurants. Heads up to the cleaning lady who cleans up the room everyday! Big plus. It's a fairly good hotel. It should be rated more than 1 star. I've stayed in 3 stars hotels which could be considered worse than Puerta Carmona. The location is excellent: near coach and train station and also to the historical city centre. I arrived very early and could check in at 6 am!

Great location in the border of the Old City quarter, less than 10 minutes from Catedral and 15 from the Alameda (good place for going out at night).

Pension Montorena is ideally located--15 to 20 minutes walk from major attractions. The facility is very clean and security is excellent. You have to be buzzed in and there is someone at reception around the clock. The staff is very attentive, polite and knowlegeable and was able to answer all of our questions and offered excellent suggestions.

Bus and v central to main sights.T he Pensione is of excellent standard and comfortable,v clean and even single rooms they hve decent space.(.Better than even 3stars hotel in london EG Holiday inn where one could barely swing a cat and was v mediocre)
