  Great central location. The staff were really friendly and helpful,our double room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with en suite including wall hair dryer and the option to have towels changed daily or to re-use. We stayed for a cold 5 days in February but the room air conditioning served very well as a heater as you were able to programme t... mitä ihmiset sanovat » o whatever temperature you required. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was machine coffee, however the dining area leads on to the public restaurant/c - The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably

  I stayed only one night but I really like it and like I was staying for a long time...It is a home actually but really nice and really warm..I talked with Agustina who working there at nights and she was really nice and trying to help you(Thank you for everything Agustina)..there is shared kitchen so, you can cook your own food(its best way to sav... mitä ihmiset sanovat » e money for backpackers) cleaning was good as well :) I will come back there If I come to Barcelona again..Hope to see you soon :) - Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

  July 2013. We had a great time at this pension. We called ahead to say we would be late and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and some can speak English. When we arrived the staff could not speak English but communicated through a translator app!! The location is excellent, 5 mins walk from the centre of las Ramblas and a metro stop. The - Loved the staff, even though only one of them speaks English, but since he's there every day at day time, I had no problem asking for help. My room was cleaned every day, which for a hostel is pleasantly surprising. The location is good as in in the center - two minute walk to La Rambla and ten minute walk to the port. Plaça de Catalunya with the AeroBus is within 5 min too, so transfers to/from the airport could never be easier The AC worked perfectly, fridge, shower, wifi etc - all good

  I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.
