and are friendly and if I go back to Barcelona will go back to this -
Lovely and clean, was so much more than I expected for the price we
paid! Got free wifi and breakfast was really good with a selection of
juice, cereal and toast/crossiants and tea and coffee. Showers and
toilets were really clean didn't have to que for the four nights I
was there and it was fully booked during this time too. Staff were
really polite and a perfect location just off La Rambla

The hostal is a very nice apartment (or two joint apartments) on the 3rd floor of a beautiful modernist house, with these old-style elements like shutters, tiled floor, wicker sofa, and separate taps for cold and hot water, and our room had a beautiful little balcony with forged railings.

The entire hostal has great design features and the owners knew what vintage furniture pieces to ad in order to preserve its wonderful architecture. I especially loved the strained-glass windows and the original tiles in all rooms. My room was spaceous, with a great street view from the small balcony. The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Paseig de Gracia and another 5 minutes to Placa de Catalunya (also, metro stations and bus stations are very close). The owners are really nice and ready

Location is great, just off the Ramblas between Liceu Opera House and the Boqueria Market with a metro stop (line 3) 1 minutes walk from the front door. Close to the Gothic Quarter, lots of eating places and shops. A great bakery a couple of doors down.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Simple room (single bed with shower) but clean and quiet. Room facilities including a hair dryer and air con/heating unit which worked. Computer in common room with free wi-fi.
Would stay here again.

The location was brilliant! - just off La Ramblas, 2 minutes walk from the metro and 3 minutes walk from a Carrefour supermarket. Our room was simple but comfortable enough for our needs. We were particularly pleased to have a room on the fifth floor - it meant that our room was very quiet. We were grateful that we did not have to share the accomadation as the bedrooms are very close, but we felt comfortable and warm, the whole apartment was very clean and a lady came in every day to change towels ect (you must ask as you have to pay 1Euro per towel). Overall we enjoyed our stay and were happy with the accomodation. -

We were a group of five staying at the flat and we all enjoyed it a lot. We arrived too early for check in but were let in anyway to leave our luggage which was great. The woman who gave us the keys was really nice and helpful. The flat had everything you could possible need when on vacation. We would recommend it to anyone going to Barcelona.
