  From the minute we booked Stay Together Apts., the staff Hector and Alvaro made sure to communicate periodically offering help and advice. They were available 24/7. When we first arrived at the airport we were quoted 70 Euros for the transfer. I gave Hector a call and he negotiated a rate of 35 Euros with the Taxi driver. This place was perfect for us. 6 girls away for the weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday and the apartment was perfect. Hector was always there when we needed him - he gave excellent advice about places to go out in the evening, discounted tickets for the tour buses etc. He offered to get a cake for the birthday girl and put up a banner in the apartment for us.   Hotel Bagues was everything we were hoping for. It was a stylish very chic looking hotel with an outstanding staff. The location was awesome right in the middle of Las Ramblas and steps to the Bari Gotic. I would highly recommend this location as the prices were very good as well. They upgraded our room and gave us a corner room with views on 2 sides of the hotel. The delay did give us a chance to - The staff are top-notch. Very few luxury hotels are able to balance friendliness with efficiency like Hotel Bagues. It's a rare gift to offer the experience they do for guests. The ambiance of the hotel is fantastic, too, and despite being on the La Rambla - with a room overlooking it - at night we could only hear the faintest of sounds. Luxuriously decorated, but cosy, the entire hotel is a really lovely experience.
