  It was great. As the price was very good I didnt expect a lot but then I was really surprised about this wonderful place. It is not the typical hotel or hostel you may know it is more like a big flat with several rooms. Some of them have an own bathroom for the rest there is one shared bathroom. It is definitely not the right place for people who dont like to get in touch with other - Perfect location, my partner and I walked absolutely everywhere. The hotel itself is a beautiful floor of a townhouse right on rambla catalunya (not to be confused with la rambla as we did!) seemed to us like the 'posh end' of la rambla, our room faced the bustling street with our own little balcony with beautiful views up and down, there is also a larger terrace/balcony off the communal living area for smokers or just evening drinks, not a brilliant view from back terrace but is still very ple

  From the minute you enter the hotel you already feel something is different. Then, when you get to your room you understand how different it is. The lobby includes the front desk with staff that was always willing to help and give useful advice. We loved the Carrot cake! The standard room is divided into two separate ar - There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

  We really loved it there. The location is in the city center. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room was nice, clean and quite big. The kitchen was good equipped. Despite the location, it is quite quiet. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. - Good location. Just 2 minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya & 1 minutes walk to subway.   I stayed in a private room with shared bathrooms at C40. The room was relatively large but simple. I stayed on the second floor where there was a kitchen however cutlery and cups were scarce. The common area and terrace on this floor were great ideas however I never saw anyone using them. Location is a short walk from La Ramblas and the Liceou metro wh - The building dates from the 19th century and there are many beautiful features in the room. The room itself is large and has a small balcony looking out on to the street below. The staff were helpful and friendly as well
