  Brilliant location - right in front of the train station, direct to Barajas, at the same time close to all sightseeing, easy walkable distance and away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist places. Our room was overlooking the Royal Palace. Beds are comfortable enough, very nice décor in the room, big bathroom. Scenery from 6th floor was very good looking towards Casa de Campo park. Room was nice and tidy and the bed was ok to sleep. Some small restaurants are nearby and the old centrum incl.   Sijainti on erinomainen, lähelä metroa ja kävelymatkan (10-15 min) päässä keskustasta. Hotelli oli siisti, rauhallinen ja huone oikein mukava. Meillä kävi hyvä tuuri: Saimme huoneen (5, krs) omalla terassilla! Hotellin oma kahvila oli todella hyvä ja kävimmekin siellä syömässä aamupalaa (Leipä, kahvia ja tuoremehua 3,50€). Also, the subway station is just nearby, i.e. within 3 min. walk down the same street. Very efficient heating system. Excellent receptionist's, room and breakfast service. Rich buffet breakfast with all sorts of food to satisfy any choice. The overall standard is fully equal to 3*** or even a bit above. - Standard of room and reception area were excellent - appeared to be brand new (April 2008). Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel is 10 minutes walk to Playa de Major. 5 minutes walk from Puerto de Toledo Metro. Within short walking distance of Palace and Cathedral. Would definitely recommend this hotel in centre of Madrid.

  Moderni, siisti, todella ystävällinen henkilökunta, 15min matka keskustaan - Everything. I was travelling with friends, we were a 9 people group and had a perfect stay at Madrid. Close tho the city center (next to metro station). Just 15 minutes far from the heart of Madrid. Excellent food in the hostel´s restaurant "il Galo Pelon" (Spanish food,... mitä ihmiset sanovat » tapas, and steakhouse, superb meats). Nice and helpful staff, speaking both good English and Italian (specially Pedro and Benvenutto), and nice staff to at the restaurant (Laura, Pacco...) Clean rooms, modern building, elevator - It's really great place to stay. Clean spacious rooms, very close to shops and really nice local restaurants. Hotel is situated on suburbs area but this is not a disadvantage at all. Next to the hotel in the neighborhood you can find asian shop with everything you need. I hope I will back here as soon as it possible:)
