  My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and had a fabulous time. Antonio (the owner) is so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for him. The room was very clean. Our shower broke during our stay and it was fixed immediately. Very good value for money and the location is central to everything we wanted.   The Hostal Campoy is not luxurious, nor does it pretend to be. But if you want a basic, en suite room in central Alicante at a very good price then this place is unbeatable. The staff, who did not seem to speak any English, were nevertheless extremely friendly and welcoming.   For the price and for it being a hostel, I was incredibly impressed with the place! It's very clean, the en-suite bathroom had a few products provided for guests. The location is very central, but on a quiet street, and there are several cafes, a supermarket and the central market located closeby. Very short distance to C6 Airport bus service, major shopping area and Old Town with bars and restaurants. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was furnished simply but very adequate with good size bathroom with hairdryer. All rooms very clean. Bar/restaurant at side of hotel and all reasonable prices and good quality. Price of hotel was excellent value for money.   I have been several times in this place. The location is perfect, next to the beach and city center. The staff is really nice and always willing to help. Rooms are good and comfortable, my advice is getting the ones with balcony as they have views to the street (top ones also to the castle and the sea).
