This good-value hostel enjoys a superb location on the famous Plaza Corredera in central Córdoba. It has free WiFi, and is home to the oldest bar on the plaza. The rooms have all the charm of old Andalusia, with white walls and colourful wooden shutters. Many have balconies overlooking the square. Bathrooms are shared. The pedestrianised Plaza Corredera is the largest square in Andalucía. All of Córdoba’s main attractions, including the Great Mosque, are within 10 minutes’ walk. Córdoba's Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We were near the end of the Camino Mozarabe when the sudde! Rain, cold and snow in Spain forced us to quit one day ahead of schedule. The result was that we booked this room in great haste; not noticing the fact that it is impossible to book-in between the hours of 13:30-17:00. We arrived at their door at 14:00, miserable cold and wet. Our kind hostess not onle made an exception and booked us in, but even carried my bag upstairs for me! What kindness! The hostel was generally well-decorated.Hotel owners are a cute family and they were really friendly and helpful,even the little girl:)It was like you are staying at your aunt's home for a holiday:)our room's view was perfect and I strongly recommend everyone to stay here!. The location itself is a plaza building and very cozy and clean. Staying in this hostel made me so relaxed. I think its unique setting and decoration make you melted into this white and blue town. Bus to Cordoba station is very easy. Not to mention it is very near the Catheral. Quirky pension in very central location. Clean, comfortable bed with wash basin in room & always hot water in shared bathroom facilities. Also heater in room which is good when cooler in evening (I was there in April). Lovely little patio on roof. Staff are incredibly friendly... They helped us in finding the beat things to do in Cordoba. (Cordoba is so amazing - lovely people). The place is sooooo clean and right in the historical centre. I strongly recommend it. Best hostal I ever visited. The location is simply stunning and some rooms open to the plaza below. Though it has shared bathrooms only, the facilities are kept very clean and even if you usually do not travel this way, you will not mind a short stay in this great hostal. This was one of the coolest places I have stayed. The rooms are right on la Corredera, and, if you don't mind a little noise, absolutely excellent for soaking up the Cordoba life. It was by far the best hotel for location, cleanness, and friendliness, that we stayed in Andalusia ... and this despite some serious limitations for people of our age. Even though I say a night, I stayed here 4 nights in total. It is quite cheap and therefore did not expect too much of it. The guy was pretty nice, however the woman could be a bit rude now and then. They have a pretty terrace upstairs which is appreciated. Good location and the staff were friendly. The noise from the square wasn't as bad as we'd expected. The rooftop terrace was nice. Super central location. center of the old town, easily to be found when you don't know the city well. - Proximity to all you need to visit - cheap. Not that we did not like it, as such, but be aware that the rooms are not totally soundproof. We had to listen to the chatter and incessant giggles of a couple of rowdy girls who arrived somewhere in the middle of the night and who showed no concern for there neighbours. There is not enough celling light during the night in the room. Adding a table lamp or bedside lamp would be great. Noise from square -but had been warned on previous reviews. It's a large square so a Saturday night is a bit like the equivalent noise of 'a night out with the lads' multiplied till the late early hours. You just need to plan to be out all night too!. No private bath, and no elevator, compensated by great help from the staff!. The price for it being in La Corredera is the noise! I had to buy ear plugs-it could be quite noisy inside too with other guests, but the earplugs did the trick. Can be a bit noisy on weekend evenings due to the numerous bars on la Corredera. Stairs to the floors were very narrow. No fire escape. Room quite small and basic. Shared bathroom. The reception is available only till 2.00 PM. The check-in is possible after 5.00 PM if you announce in advance your arriving hour, which is quite difficult if you depends on traffic or parking problems. Parking is 1km away. The square can get a bit noisy at night. Very steep stairs and noisy street. Not enough bathrooms. No air conditioning=no sleep. Had to wet a towel to use as cover. Bit noisy. Bit of a walk to mezquita and alcazar, but that of course must not be negative. I found the picture to be not true and too nice. There are pictures of breakfast which they do not serve, flowers everywhere which they don´t have. Also it says it has a restaurant and bar, but these can be found outside. A little irritating was the strict checkin and checkout. Since they have no reception there is a set time and this have to be followed. Therefore you cannot check in before 10:00 or leave your luggage after 14:00-. Lack of toilets / showers (just 2 per floor). Also there wasn't even a sink in the room so you have to walk to and from the bathrooms quite a lot and sometimes the wait was quite long. Very noisy from plaza (bring ear plugs), no parking nearby that can be easily found, very difficult and narrow access to the building (hard to bring even a small suitcase), common bathrooms and toilets. Too expensive for what it offers. Just next to a famous square with bar & resturants at the square. Extremely noisy at night until 2~3am & noisy again at 8am in the morning, unable to sleep well. My visit is in Spring/Summar, resturant tables are outdoors, not sure winter time might be better. Only good for one night stay if budget is limited. Reception is nice but only spainish support available. - Very small room - nice the view to the Plaza but very noisy at night - you could hear everything was happening or said in the other room, terrible noise of the water of the sink in the other room! - dirty towels.
