  Pepita the landlady/hostess was more than accommodating/welcoming to us, the room was very clean and cleaned on daily basis, beds dressed and towels changed. The room had a lovely balcony where the sun shone until late into evening. There is also a bar/cafe in hotel with really cheap prices.   Location is perfect, and the hotel is kept very well and feels very modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Being able to just walk down a flight of steps and be instantly on the beach was fantastic. I didn't eat at the hotel, but it's very close to excellent restaurants on the beach and in Torremolinos town centre.   We were welcomed by a Spanish front desk clerk who spoke a bit of English. When asked, transferred us to another room because wifi signal was stronger. When asked, he also called Tapeo de Cervantes and booked us a table for 2 in Spanish. Location is perfect, it is right in front of the trainstation. A short walk to the old town with all its temptations. And the hostal itself with its cool marble floors is traditional, comfortable and homely. And to top it all: the prices are "affordable".

  Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! Location is A+. 3min walk to train and bus stations and 1... mitä ihmiset sanovat » 0min to walk into the centre - we didn't need to use any public transport while we were there (about a 20min walk to the beach but it was a pleasant s - I had booked two individual nights, and could easily swop them for the same room, and the very kind lady at reception just charged me very little extra for the more expensive 2nd room. I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!
