  There was a lot to like about this hostal. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was extremely clean. Our room was pretty small but for a budget option we didn't expect it to be large. One of the best things about Hostal Zamora is the location. You can walk to all the big tourist attractions-Puerta del Sol, the Prado and other art... mitä ihmiset sanovat » museums, and the Palacio Real. There are scads of restaurants all around. You'd think it would be noisy but it's not. It's on a quiet square so yo - I am so sorry that I haven't asked the name of that super professional and kind guy at the reception. He was extremely careful, helped us out with all our questions and made sure that we were comfortable and safe all the time. The three recommendations he gave us (breakfast place, lunch place and pizza place) were all great. The hotel itself was not exactly what we were waiting for, but the location is great and everything was so easy. Recommend it.

For people willing to go to Madrid I would kindly suggest to have a very pleasant stay at hostal America.

  I would highly recommend Hostal Sonsoles. We had a double room with two single beds. The room size was decent (I've stayed in smaller ones in New York), and the bathroom was large (with good water pressure too). The building has a lift (elevator), although I found myself just using the stairs to get to the hostal. Great value, will definitely stay here again.
