This was a delightful place to stay in a lovely tastefully furnished Victorian Lodge. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much to ask during our 4 day stay. The staff were friendly,courteous and efficient without being intrusive. They went beyond the call of duty to assist. The hotel itself is what a 5 star hotel is all about, and I have stayed in five star hotels throughout the world,some of which don't match up to this.Would definitely stay there again.

Our two-bedroom suite with living area was more spacious than we needed but we loved the separate bedrooms and large kitchen. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful, always smiling, and solicitous without being in your face. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices and value for money; use of the business centre at no extra cost was a godsend - see wi-fi
The entrance/lobby very spacious and felt homely. I would definitely stay at the Portswood again
