  We stayed for 6 nights in 'deluxe one-bedroom suite with living area'. The hotel location is at the centre of the city, European design hotel and very comfortable and clean. We had a spacious one bedroom with dining-living room area and kitchen facilities (microwave,oven, washer-dryer); and very nice two-sides view. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful from the doormen to the concierge to the drivers. The 1800 restaurant had delicious food for dinner. The rooms are clean, well-ventilated, have aircon, and are well laid out particular if you want to do some work. Breakfast was delicious and very well served, we would definitively stay there again.

  I spent 10 days here as a solo female traveler and what a wonderful place! I really enjoyed my stay here. James really goes out of his way to make sure you have the best trip possible. He arranged a tour of Robben Island for me and a really cool cooking class in Bo Kaap. James, the owner, is friendly and helpful (he checked if the cable way to table mountain was open (because of heavy winds) and if a certain museum was open (because of public holiday), dropped me off at the Waterfront, as he had to go there as well, and arranged a taxi/shuttle service.

  The staff, location, facilities and access to The One and Only Hotel's restaurant for breakfast were all fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff who assisted us with booking tickets and tours during our four days in Cape Town. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. If I have a chance to go back to Cape Town, I would definitely try to stay here again.

  The hotel and staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The room exceeded my expectation and would happily recommend it to anyone going to Cape Town. Not only did I organise my own accommodation but booked for 12 other people as well and they all were extremely happy with the facilities staff location and enjoyed their time there.
