  The hotel and staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The room exceeded my expectation and would happily recommend it to anyone going to Cape Town. Not only did I organise my own accommodation but booked for 12 other people as well and they all were extremely happy with the facilities staff location and enjoyed their time there.   I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.
