  Our hosts were excellent, they were always on hand to help and ensure that we had the best possible stay, not only in their b&b but in Cape Town as well. There is an excellent local - The Chocolate House is an old beauty with excellent hosts, Lee and Johan. They made our holiday super-special. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and hearty, the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and have personality, the breakfast was just delicious. It is a jump away from Devils Peak and it's located in a safe area, 5 min. to the city centre! We spent 11 fabulous days in the Chocolate House and we definitely will come back! And last not least there was Versace, who delighted my heart!

When I was unwell one day, she insisted on driving me to the Medi-clinic herself and coming back for me later. The full cooked breakfasts were large.   Almost everything was excellent. Catherine and Michael are running a great job there. They care with everything, prepare you homemade breakfasts, deal with you so much that yo feel like staying at a friend's house in Cape Town. Facilities were sufficient for a bed&breakfast. Location was in a quiet street, not a dangerous environment.
