  A truly delightful boutique hotel ideally located on the fringes of Camps Bay and a few minutes walk from the buzz of the main town. Our ocean facing rooms were reasonably spacious and quiet but had good sized bathrooms.   Not an ultramodern hotel but rather a well maintained hotel with a more genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the food well above average. The hotel is quite well placed in a slightly quieter part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute strol - Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

The rooms are clean, well-ventilated, have aircon, and are well laid out particular if you want to do some work. Breakfast was delicious and very well served, we would definitively stay there again.
