We loved every minute of our stay. Probably returning next year.
There was nothing to dislike
Firstly, you couldn't find a better location. Close to the CBD, the waterfront, beaches and amazing cafes. Secondly, the rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. Highly recommended, especially when you're staying as a group.
My only gripes were the pillows, thin towels and no bathroom toiletries. But those were minor issues and certainly not something that will deter me from returning.
There was a small kitchenette in the room, including a small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, great if you don't want to eat out all the time. Lots of cute cafe's very close by to grab a light meal. We managed to lock the safe without following the instructions then couldn't open it, the manager gladly came in on a Sunday to assist with this.
Good location, good price, well furnished rooms with a small kitchenette inside, free wi-fi, many place to eat around and within walking distance to waterfront.

Lack of secure parking in a problem area
The Primi Oxford House represents excellent value for money and is perfectly located if you want to visit the V&A Waterfront. The accommodation is basic but clean, comfortable, well maintained and in a safe area. The staff are excellent and we would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a low cost self catering base from which to explore Cape Town.

A bit noisy in the passages when guests get back late at night, or are around early in the morning. Plumbing noisy when neighbours run a tap or shower
The modern look of the room and everything available in the small kitchen. Bedding was extremely comfy.
You could constantly hear people if they were in the hallway. But I would for sure stay there again.

Primi Oxford House was a gem of a find. Grest location, 15 min walk from Waterfront. What impressed me the most was the look and feel of the modern studio apartment like room I had. Mini kitchenette, very large and cleaned daily bathroom and large bed and living space. It felt like a home away from home. Staff were all so helpful with organising taxis for me and even allowing me to leave my bags at the hotel a few days after checking out as I had to stop by capetown again for a few hours before flying out of the city. Book this place in advance because it books out fast. One of the best accommodation so far in my travels!

Did not like guests smoking downstairs as the smoke smell rose up into our room.

The location was excellent, just a 10 minute walk to the waterfront. The area was quite and the room was well maintained. Had the essentials for self catering which was great.

The location is perfect. Walking distance from downtown, waterfront, sea point, restaurants along the summerset st, Cape Center mall, etc. Huge and comfortable room with kitchenette. Very clean and quiet. I even found a Laundromat 2 blocks from the hotel. If you drive plenty of parking on the street. Janet and David were very nice as well as the rest of the staff. The free Wi-Fi added more value to the price paid which in comparison to other big hotels is way less. Overall a great little hotel.
This was a fantastic guesthouse with very pleasant and helpful staff. Its centrally located so one can access many places in the city with ease. I would definitely stay at the Primi Oxford House again.
all the rooms are clean and spacious. the position is really good, near the Waterfront and close to all the facilities. Natalie is very helpful and kind. we will definitely stay here again if we will be back in cape town.

No soap in the bathroom. Double bed was two single bed's pushed together, made cuddling uncomfortable.
Excellent central location convenient to shops and supermarket and the V&A Waterfront. Spotlessly clean and well appointed with micro wave and fridge. Very comfortable and spacious. Safe on street parking.
The safe in the bedroom was locked when I arrived on Saturday evening and could not be opened over the weekend. No offer to store valuables was made.

Primi Oxford House is an excellent place. The localization is perfect: close to Water Front, you can go walking. The room is really good. Beautiful, clean, very confortable - and the price worth it. If I go again to Capetown, and I'm sure I will, I intend stay in Primi Oxford again.
The wi-fi signal was weak in our room. To use internet, we had to stay close to the door, out of the bed.

Parking not secure
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The parking was fine-not secure but seemed safe enough. The room was really clean and comfortable. A really pleasant stay.
For me, all it lacked was a full length mirror. Not really a big prob though!!

In the whole it is the very comfortable and nice place to stay in Cape Town. The house is close to all famous places in the city and it is safe. The personnel is very friendly, it was possible to resolve all questions. I liked this guest house, really. My time was very pleasant and interesting.

Best deal and compromise in town
Comfortable rooms, great location- in the center of Green point which is really nice, 10 min. Drive from the waterfront, feels safe.
The kitchen is too small if you're planning to cook (but really no need for it in Cape Town- so many places to eat around...).
Very spacey modern apartments with good facilities. Staff was very helpful with all kind of questions. Apartments were kept very clean and linen/towels were changed every day. Very near to the V & A Waterfront , shops and restaurants in the direct vicinity.
The only thing that we did not like was that we had to park our car in the street. There is no secured parking.
