The receptionist that was on duty was the most helpful and friendly person we have ever had whilst in a B+B. Nothing was to much trouble. She got 12/10 for service. Room had all the basics. Bathroom was neat. Comfortable stay. Friendly staff, beautifull interior. Staff % food & location. Everything. The lady who helped me was very very friendly and made my stay worthwhile and the place is in a very nice area.
kaikki arvostelut » Location was close to where I needed to be. The guest house is superb, beautiful. The roominess of the accommdation. All the chanells were available. The interior, reception, lounge etc as well as the rooms are attractive and clean. Friendly Receptionist Size of room. Comfortable beds. The veranda and outside table and chairs needed a dust!! But not to big a problem and not enough not to recommend the venue. Gate was faulty. Of the four night we stayed, one night was quite noisy. No consideration for other guests especially since it was night time. There was no bathroom door. A bright light at a mirror to do your make up properly, please!. Nothing. Nothing. No luggage chair so had to open heavy suitcase on floor. Not the most ideal for older people. The room that was allocated to me including the bedding was not clean at all. Fittings very sparse - no desk to work, no pedestals. Tv at strange angle to bed and no chairs to sit on. The service is horrible we slept and used same linen and towels for three nights. The room was not tide up. The lighting in the room was not adequate - Main light was concealed behind a beam and bedlamp without a globe. I tried organising an iron during signing in and was told to collect later but the was no one. I phoned the contact and she was going to arrange eith someone but never phone back. I lest the next day without ironing. No Hospitality. The first impression not good, garden is neglected, in the room there is no chair to sit on, no electric blankets, the website advertises heated rooms, the portable aircon did not have water in! No teaspoons for coffee not enough shampoo only 1 bottle for two people for two nights! No soap.. I get the idea the rooms are not checked before guests arrive!. Payment made when booking not processed. Had to ask for towels for second person Duvette reversed and appeared used. Ash tray not cleaned. Parking difficult No room bar as advertised. Dirty bed linen No doors on bathroom Dirty shower No door handle on the bathroom door in my Mothers room! Filthy fridge. Tiles falling off the wall in the barrooms. No contact from the guest house, were not able to arrange dinner(not that we would have in light of the filthy conditions) A complete waste of money, should have demanded a refund.
