  - Excellent location, I grew up in Saint Petersburg myself, and I believe this is the best location there. It's close to everything, every palace, museum, every major sight. It is two steps from Nevsky on a pedestrian street across from the Kazan Cathedral, yet because it's on a pedestrian street, it's reasonably quiet.   The hotel is maybe not what you expect from 4 stars in Western Europe but for the price and service, I think it is a good deal. We had an executive room (note that minibar is not free in executive and standard rooms - unlike stated below) which was large and spacious, and very clean. In addition, there is a closet for your clothes with plenty of hangers, an iron board and - The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. They provided directions to the Metro, post office and other places of interest. They arranged tours for us as well as booking reservations for us in local restaurants. The staff were just incredible and so friendly. The breakfast was included in the room and the breakfast was buffet style, with a very large and fresh choice of foods, and they would make eggs / omelettes if requested. We had difficulty with our air conditioner and we advise

  The hotel is perfectly located just behind the Ermitage Museum and a short walk from the main shopping street with many restaurants to choose from. The staff was tremendously helpful in recommending things to do. We loved the breakfast which was included in our roomrate.   From the moment I made the reservation to the time I finally walked out the front door, the staff did everything in their power to make life easy.   really clean and well equipped for this price. We could find whatever we need in the apartment and staff was very kind and helpful. 10 minutes by foot from the city center, a lot of bars and cafes. Sushi was very good!

Helpful staff. - they probably have the best bed-clothes I've ever seen. So comfortable so you forget you are in a hotel. (I've seen 30+ hotels). Excellent bathroom.

  Great location. Neat rooms, enough space. We were changing the rooms during stay and I cannot say which one of two I liked better. It's nice that you can get in through back yard getting feel of old city.
